The accommodation comprises one bedroom with fitted sliding wardrobes, a 5ft four poster bed, luxury en-suite bathroom with separate rain shower with body jets a 12 jet whirlpool bath, solid oak flooring throughout, 42″ HD Television with Full SKY HD+ package, including movies & sports, BT Sports, HD DVD player, high speed wi-fi internet, Bower & Wilkins bluetooth speaker, Apple Mini Ipad which links to Apple Music and our definative music library with in excess of 19,500 songs, a luxury fitted kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine.  Verified Fantastic Seaside Cottage From start to finish we relaxed and enjoyed the views,comfort and coziness of the cottage with garden for our puppy to Max to safely run around. On arrival there was a meal prepared by our host and the wine was also appreciated. A lovely , relaxed location - Blue Bar recommended. Also a great central spot for lots of great beaches , towns like Padstow or beaches like Holywell Bay. St Agnes next town along is beautiful n quirky. Booked for next year already

 Verified Superb We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Porthtowan. This was the first time that we have used Cockleshell Holidays, but we are already planning a return trip next year. The booking process was easy and we felt well informed from start to finish. The accommodation was superb, especially considering it was dog-friendly - extremely comfortable, finished to a very high standard and it had everything you could ever need and more. When we arrived we were greeted with a range of little extras including a 2-course ‘first night’ meal that had been freshly prepared, wine, fresh flowers, cake, bread, milk and Cornish butter and biscuits - a lovely touch. Thank you to Sue and Simon for a wonderful break away. We are already looking forward to our next stay at your lovely cottage with those amazing views.

 Verified Spring holiday Spent a week for the first time in Cornwall in March. We normally visit in the summer, but had an amazing time in the spring. Luckily we had nice weather, Porthtowan was a fantastic place to visit with 2 great pubs, cafe, ice cream parlour, gift shop and shop. The beach was amazing, great for body boarding and our accommodation was fantastic. Our hosts made us feel so welcome, with a lovely home cooked meal on arrival with wine and beer. There was everything you could need at the apartment, it was homely, well equipped, with great views of the sea!  Verified Cockleshell was heavenly We had a wonderful week at this beautiful apartment. It was well equipped with everything you could want. Lovely and warm and great view of the beach and the huge breakers, rolling in, very relaxing.  Verified Brilliant place to stay The apartment is right by the beach car park and an easy walk to the beach, wonderful village shop, restaurants and coast path. An amazing place to stay and Sue was very helpful with making sure we had everything we wanted. The welcome meal was excellent and the apartment was amazingly well provided with all amenities.  Verified Perfect couples hideaway The location is amazing - the beach is on the doorstep. The apartment is small but beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need for a lovely, luxurious stay. Sue even provided a gorgeous meal for two on the first night.  Verified Very comfortable apartment. Having stayed a couple of years ago at Cockleshell cottage we jumped at the chance to stay in Sue’s other property. Delayed by a year due to the pandemic (which Sue handled brilliantly) we feel lucky that we have finally been able to stay here. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could need. Lovely meal to reheat on arrival and plenty of welcome pack goodies. We enjoyed sitting out watching the world go by and even watching the rain! Very convenient for local cafes, pub and shop. There is also a reliable bus service into Truro if you want to leave your car behind. What can I say except I wish we lived nearer so we could return more often!

 Verified Superb sea view apartment A very attractive, well equipped, and extremely comfortable property with sea view from the south facing garden across Porthtowan bay. To add to the pleasure there was a delicious meal waiting for us.  Verified Wonderful We spent a fantastic week in this lovely flat, it was furnished beautifully with every modern convenience. Close to the beach, and all local amenities with brilliant ocean views. But it was the little extras provided that really added an extra wow factor from lovely comfy slippers and bath robes to a scrummy home cooked meal on arrival in the fridge all ready to heat up.  Verified Perfect Beach Apartment Porthtowan Highly recommend, overlooking the beach at Porthtowan, in an ideal location for all amenities, walking, beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is just as in the pictures, very clean with extremely well equipped kitchen and comfy sitting area with views to garden and beach. Large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate super shower. Very comfortable king size bed with plenty of cupboard\wardrobe space. Newly refurbished and space used to maximum advantage. Hosts Sue and Simon are very helpful, Sue had prepared a meal for us when we arrived, chicken in white sauce and vegetables together with chocolate cheesecake dessert, brilliant, plus a very extensive welcome pack.  Verified Fantastic Beachside Luxury Apartment We managed to book this new apartment and were so glad we picked this apartment. It has been renovated to an extremely high standard, and was exceptionally clean. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and a seperate shower, really well equipped kitchen, lovely comfortable bed.  Verified Wow! Absolute perfection! The accommodation is in a fantastic location, with a beautiful view of Porthtowan beach, just a very short stroll to take a dip, visit the local chippy and shop or soak up the atmosphere in a couple of bars.  Can highly recommend The Blue Bar for friendly service, great food and stunning sunsets!The coastal path walk to St Agnes is lovely as is the walk via beach to Chapel Porth. The accommodation itself is decorated to an incredibly high standard, its beautiful! Alot of care has been taken to cater for every need. Its very well equipped, great powerful shower, really comfy bed. Thoughtful personal touches and welcome gift.The communication from Sue was brilliant, professional and very informative even though she had other personal priorities.  Verified What an absolutely charming, perfect holiday rental! We arrived after a long drive to find an immaculate property with an incredible view of St. Michael's Mount. The owners had left us a fantastic array of provisions, a bottle of wine and a lovely welcome note. Such an amazing welcome-pack of delectable food! It was great to have the makings of breakfast so we didn't have to rush off to the shops upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the tea/coffee station by the bedroom window. Loads of closet space and drawers and hangers for unpacking! We ate breakfast every day in the sweet little dining room facing the sea. The lounge was very cozy with a big TV perfect for watching movies, and of course there was always the gorgeous view out the large picture window. The shower was strong and hot, and I appreciated having a washing machine. The kitchen was so well-equipped! But beyond all the fabulous amenities, we were so impressed with the helpfulness and kindness of the hosts, who gave us lots of suggestions on things to do and places to eat The outdoor patio area overlooking the water was amazing, with very comfy lounge chairs. Seawatch is close to all amenities, and just steps from the beach. Garage to park our rental car in which was very handy. My only "complaint" is that I would happily have spent another week there, but sadly we had to fly home. We've stayed at many places around the world but this is one of our very favs!

 Verified Our stay was amazing. Our host made contact early, checked in with us for arrival and needs, supplied an amazing welcome basket…the warm scones - what a treat! There were many little considerations, to make our stay more pleasurable, as well as a clearly outlined ‘Welcome Book’ giving a huge amount of information. This apartment is well placed for local activities, some retail therapy and pubs with good service and meals. Larger retail shops, including Tesco, are just a couple of miles away.Onsite parking was perfect for mid size SUVs and smaller vehicles.We would definitely revisit if travelling this way again, you will NOT be disappointed!

Uns erwartete eine blitzsaubere, sehr komfortable Wohnung mit bequemen Betten, einer voll umfänglichen Küchenausstattung, großem TV und einer traumhaften Dachterrasse direkt am Meer und mit Blick auf St. Mount Michaels. Die Gastgeber stellten uns hochwertige Produkte wie Prosecco, Cornish Cream Tea, Schinken, Käse u.v.m. als Willkommenspaket hin.  Verified Location was perfect view amazingSue was lovely very helpful, good communication, left really helpful supplies and goodies for our arrival. The property was spotless everything we needed for our stay although some  things could be improved outside area was very tired ( garden furniture and dead plants, parasol etc) The property is on two levels but wasn’t stated on booking details, bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs, not an issue for able body people but I really struggled as mobility poor and that is the only negitive.  Verified Das allerbeste ist die Lage!! Wir haben es bei Bilderbuchwetter eine Woche lang genossen, draußen auf der Terrasse zu sitzen/ zu essen und immer den Blick auf den Atlantik zu haben. Als das Wetter etwas nachließ, hatten wir denselben Blick vom Wohnraum aus . Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön, bestens geeignet für Wanderungen bei Ebbe am Strand oder über den Küstenwanderweg. Viele Ausflugsziele sind gut zu erreichen mit dem Auto. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
